Looking to rehome 2 male BONDED guinea pigs

It saddens me to say this but I’m looking to rehome two of my adorable guinea pigs🥺

I currently have 6 (which wasn’t intended at all) and I’m thinking 4 is my max:( I had originally adopted mater(copper color) as my 6th because I had an uneven number of guinea pigs and needed to have them separated evenly (they’re all male). The brother he had bonded with at first ended up having pneumonia from the shelter he came from and passed:(. Once this happened I was trying to rehome mater because I knew I didn’t want to have to go through the entire process of looking for a New Guinea pig and bonding etc. but no one ended up reaching out and eventually I knew that he couldn’t be isolated any longer.

Binx (long hair mix black and white) and Mater (copper) are both male born in January of last year. They are a little over a year old. They are the sweetest, cuddliest guinea pigs. I have loved and cared for them for some time and just have too much going on in my life right now take care of all 6. Binx is still pretty jumpy when people are walking around or come close to the cage. Both need to be held/pet to be accustomed to a new environment.

Binx loves to go into hoodie sleeves/pockets Mater loves to go onto peoples shoulders and cuddle up in your neck:)

I will be making sure that whoever is taking them is going to be a suitable owner and will actually care for them how I would. Binx needs to have the ends of his hair trimmed every few weeks because it grows so long. They are both the sweetest boys and just want to find their forever homes… but sadly… I don’t think it’s with me😔

I will be charging a $40 adoption fee to avoid any inhumane purchases such as using them for human food/snakebate/experiments/etc.
